BIOGRAPHY

Julia has worked for many years in professional theaters in Germany (Frankfurt am Main, Cologne, Heidelberg, Offenbach, Bad Nauheim,...). Acting has been her passion since childhood.

At the age of three, she began attending music school and acting in musicals. She studied the piano and took singing lessons for some years with Gabriele Hierdeis, a German opera singer.

In addition to school and University studying Medicine, she took private acting lessons with Lissy Jentsch and Parviz Barid, actor, director and professor at the Johann Wolfgang v. Goethe-University in Frankfurt and stage and musical school Frankfurt. She practiced Meisner technique at the Munich Film Academy with Sebastian Gerold and attended acting courses of the German directors Arne Feldhusen, Nicole Weegmann and Richard Huber at Filmhouse Cologne. Julia did a Bernard Hiller London Masterclass and worked with Bernard Hiller again in his Comedy Improv Class in Rome in March 2011. In 2010 and 2012 she was in Los Angeles doing an intensive filmacting coaching with David Kagen, Mark Brady, Brett Rickaby and Jordan Lund at David Kagen's School of Film Acting.
In 2022 she returned to Los Angeles for a Method Acting Strasberg Technique Class (Stacey L. Swift) and film acting lessons (Josef LeMieux, Michelle Danner Acting School)
Julia performed and wrote satire programs for the well known German satire theatre "Die Schmiere". She worked a lot in the field of comedy and improvisation. She was regulary booked in improvisational role plays for big German banks in their assessment centers for some years. During the last years Julia played in several shortfilms.

Julia did an elective in psychiatry in London. She worked as a physician in surgery in Frankfurt, Germany, in Graz, Austria and in Zofingen, Switzerland.
